iFuse Solutions is looking add an IT Purchasing Coordinator to our client in downtown Cleveland. The IT Purchasing Coordinator performs all aspects of IT based purchasing for the company and for managing the inventory, distribution, and control of those items. The IT Purchasing Coordinator must identify the products that are to be purchased, identify the most appropriate supplier for the products, confirm pricing, confirm all deliveries, and maintain internal inventory.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to determine purchasing needs and requirements for IT Hardware Devices and Software Licenses
  • Identify the most appropriate supplier for the designated product, determine availability, perform price comparisons, and establish delivery requirements/timelines
  • Perform all purchasing functions, such as issuing purchase orders (POs), pricing verification, complete entries into purchasing systems
  • Identify and resolve any and all issues related to product quality, pricing, and delivery
  • Update company on any new products that may be more efficient or cost effective, obsolete products, product trends
  • Conduct records audit of inventory, adjustments and other metrics
  • Maintain inventory of company hardware and software
  • Checking in/out company-owned assets
  • Occasionally process daily incoming and outgoing shipments from vendors and to customers


  • Experience in purchasing and inventory control management is a plus
  • Experience and proficient in understanding IT equipment and licensing is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and ability to exercise independent judgment
  • Must be detail-oriented
  • Demonstrated proficiency in analyzing data, problem identification and resolution and ability to generate clear/concise reports indicating key issues to management/ department heads
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
