Position Summary

The Senior Advisor, Service Partner Relationships is responsible for enabling JumpStart’s entrepreneur clients across Ohio to accelerate the growth of their businesses by accessing third-party service resources. These resources include professional service providers such as accounting, human resources, legal, marketing, and insurance, web/software development, etc. as well as service platforms for cloud hosting, lead generation, client relationship management, business process automation, etc.

This role can be summarized by three primary facets: relationships, entrepreneurial acumen and experience, and connections.

This person is responsible for identifying, vetting, and maintaining relationships with third-party service providers & platforms. Relationships can be at different levels: purchased, preferred, donated.

This role will have the opportunity to significantly impact entrepreneurs by helping them assess their needs and, when appropriate, connecting them to stage-appropriate resources intended to achieve value-driving milestones (as determined and agreed upon by the “business advisor” and the entrepreneurs).

To that end, this individual will identify gaps in our service offerings and recommend new areas and partners that can bolster the services we can deploy.
