Responsibilities:
Design, develop and implement modifications and enhancements for the Agency and Data Solutions applications. Analyze and validate complex system requirements and existing business processes and information systems. Develop continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines in an Agile methodology environment. Build, develop and implement applications based on ETL and Cloud technologies that includes ETL development, AWS Development, Cloud native applications and event streaming. Design, develop, test, debug, document and deploy software according to standards in an agile environment. Serve as mentor to junior developers to drive continuous improvement and learning through ongoing training, practice and innovation. Utilize technologies including COBOL, JCL, Stored Procedures, SQL, Apigee, Concourse, Rancher and Harness, New Relic, and Apache Kafka in a technical environment including DB2 databases, Oracle databases, SQL Server databases, Amazon Web Services. Hybrid work from home policy may apply. Must be in office 3-4 days per week.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering or a related field and five years’ experience with applying the ETL process to datasets using ETL Informatica PowerCenter and Data Quality and database development and analysis using Oracle, MS SQL Server, DB2, Data Modelling, and Postgre SQL. Experience must include four years with developing continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Concourse, Jenkins, Artifactory, Urban, ESP, UAC, and Autosys and three years with developing applications in Cloud Native Platforms, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS. Alternatively, a master’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering or a related field and two years of experience, as detailed above, is acceptable.
