Our FP&A Team is growing! We’re looking to add a Senior Financial Analyst who loves a challenge, understands and appreciates the sense of urgency often required when dealing with a diverse startup client base and the demands of a consulting firm. The selected individual will work closely with our CFOs to provide valuable financial insights for our business and those of our growing startup client base, driving projects and working as an integral part of the team.

REQUIREMENTS
The Senior Financial Analyst will report to our Manager, FP&A with matrix reporting to our Head of CFO Solutions, and will work closely with our Chief Financial Officers, Controllers and other team members to manage the following functions for multiple client companies:
- Work with our CFOs to develop and update financial models, including cash flow forecasts, revenue models and rolling forecasts for early-stage companies.
- Assist CEO, COO and CFOs on projects involving business strategy + planning, including market research and preparation of presentation materials like one-pagers and pitch decks.
- Prepare reports for management summarizing results of research, analyses and evaluation of any discrepancies.
- Participate in preparation of budgets, long-range planning and weekly forecasting process.
- Gather, analyze, prepare and summarize recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements and operating forecasts.
- Develop capitalization tables in Excel and assist with equity plan administration in tools like Carta and Shareworks.
- Manage financial consolidation processes, as needed.
- Attend meetings and on-site hours with our startup clients, as needed.
- Assist in the evaluation of tools, systems and processes to ensure our operations run smoothly.
- Maintain and update Monday.com boards for client projects and assignments.
- Actively participate in onsite networking and marketing events, promoting Book+Street service offerings.

QUALIFICATIONS
You must love startups and be a highly motivated self-starter.The ideal candidate will be earlier in their career, and eager to learn. This is a great opportunity to get in on the ground floor, put in the hard work, and earn additional responsibilities.At a minimum, you should possess the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration or related discipline.
- Strong Microsoft Excel experience is CRITICAL for success in this role.
- Enthusiasm to learn, grow and problem-solve
- 3+ year of experience in financial analysis and modeling required.
- 1+ year of experience working within a start-up business environment preferred
- Understanding of GAAP accrual basis financial statements
- Prior experience in professional services firm preferred
- Ability to work independently, under pressure
- Entrepreneurial spirit
- Positive, kind, can-do attitude
- Creative thinking and strategic problem solving
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Extreme detail orientation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft and Google suite products

LOCATION
At Book+Street we work in a highly consultive environment – not just with our clients, but among our own team. Selected individual will be expected to work on-site as part of a highly collaborative team in our office in Columbus.
Hybrid work schedule available for Full Time Employees following 90 Days of employment and meeting minimum billing requirements. Hybrid eligible team members must work out of our offices 3 days a week.

COMPENSATION
This is a salaried, exempt position with base compensation of $70,000 - $80,000 per year.
