We provide CFO + Controllership services, HR + People Solutions to a rapidly expanding client base, along with a suite of complementary services to help our client companies scale. We’re working with some of the hottest young companies in the region and we are looking for a Systems and Operations Analyst to join our team.
SUMMARY
The selected individual will work closely with our leadership team to onboard new clients, onboard new team members, implement and manage systems and processes, and will be a critical driver on internal projects, budgeting, and forecasting, working as an integral part of the business operations team.

RESPONSIBILITIES
This role is a key component of team member and client success and has overarching organizational responsibility to deliver support to ensure organizational systems and processes run smoothly.
Organizational Support:
- Does whatever is necessary to ensure organization and client success! No ask is too big or too small.
- Manages and supports system integration of technology solutions as Book+Street continues to scale.
- Assists CEO and COO with projects involving business strategy + planning, including market research and coordinates with marketing on the preparation of presentation materials like one-pagers and pitch decks.
- Develops and maintains daily/weekly/monthly business reporting needs for Book+Street internal operations.
- Prepares reports for management summarizing results of research, analyses and evaluation of any discrepancies.
- Participates in preparation of budgets, long-range planning and weekly forecasting process.
- Gathers, analyzes, prepares and summarizes recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements and operating forecasts.
- Updates the billing system, including new client setup, employee billing code setup.
- Prepares monthly invoicing and systems reconciliation.
- Updates the CRM, including adding new contacts and business opportunities and resource allocation and resource allocation as opportunities move through the pipeline.
- Actively participates in onsite networking and marketing events, promoting Book+Street service offerings.
New Client Onboarding:
- Supports client onboarding, preparing onboarding email, Slack channel setup, and set up of time codes in billing system.
- As necessary, attends meetings and on-site hours with our startup clients in support of onboarding activities.
New Employee Onboarding:
- Assists with systems setup during the new employee onboarding.
- Provides troubleshooting support and serves as SME (Subject Matter Expert) for technologies used in our suite of products. Works with external technology vendors where necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration or related discipline.
- Strong Microsoft Excel experience is a MUST for success in this role.
- 1+ year of experience in financial analysis and modeling required.
- 3+ months of experience working within a start-up business environment preferred
- Extremely proactive with enthusiasm to learn, grow and problem solve

- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Extreme detail orientation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft and Google suite products
- Experience with project management systems and/or Monday a big plus!
- Experience with billing systems and/or BigTime a plus!
- Experience with:
- Git/GitHub: Understand and have used git/GitHub for version control of software
- Scripting Languages: Know how to write code in a scripting language like Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript
- Database Design and Implementation: Understand basic relational database concepts and have experience querying using SQL
- APIs: Experience with using APIs for data extraction and making software that integrates with other applications
- Using the Terminal: Be comfortable navigating a BASH/ZSH terminal
- Full stack web development experience. Specifically, NextJS and Prisma
- Claude Code and agentic workflows for coding and automation
- Cloud Computing: Know the basics of administering a website using cloud infrastructure (GCP is preferred)
- And understanding of the basics of how a CI/CD pipeline works
- Secure-by-design coding practices

COMPENSATION
$55,000-$65,000 per year
