Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist - Contract

Location: Cleveland (Onsite – 3-4 days in office)

Department: Human Resources

Reports To: VP of HR

Hours: 40 per week

Travel: Up to 10%

Your Impact

We’re looking for a highly-motivated, Contract Technical Recruiter who can support our growing company. You’ll be client-facing and candidate-facing, managing full-cycle recruiting for high-impact searches for our team

What You’ll Do

  • Own full-cycle recruiting for roles in engineering, product, sales, and additional teams
  • Partner directly with founders, hiring managers, and internal people teams to understand roles and shape hiring strategies
  • Source, screen, and manage top talent pipelines across technical and go-to-market roles
  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience, acting as an extension of the CHAMP brand
  • Prepare recruitment data reports to track progress, and contribute to update calls and recruiting strategy discussions
  • Support offer negotiation and closing
  • Maintain clean, organized, and timely candidate data within LinkedIn Recruiter and Tracking Reports

Requirements Qualifications

  • 4+ years of recruiting experience, ideally a mix of agency and in-house with prior startup recruiting experience
  • 1+ years of technical recruiting experience, ideally with an understanding of niche engineering domains
  • Ability to manage multiple roles across functions- ie, you can jump from a software engineer search to a product manager
  • Prior experience partnering with senior leadership on key business searches
  • Excellent communication skills and polish
  • Excellent organization skills with a very strong attention to detail
  • A 'get-stuff-done' mentality, all about execution

Preferred Experience

  • Experience implementing basic processes, recruiting tools and ATS
  • Strong use of AI tools

Contract Details

  • Onsite with hourly pay
  • 3-6 month project-based engagements tied to clients
  • 40 hours/week to start, with potential to grow to full-time
