About the Role
CHAMP is seeking a detail-oriented Communications & Activations Intern to support the rollout of our digital titling and ELT platforms across state partners, with a focus on communication, content development, and data-driven insights.
This role is ideal for someone with a background in English, Communications, or Marketing who is interested in applying strong writing and analytical skills in a fast-paced, client-facing environment. You will work closely with the Activation team to support stakeholder communication, develop clear and effective materials, and analyze program performance to help drive successful implementations.
What You’ll Do
Stakeholder Communication & Account Support
- Support communication with state agencies, service providers, and internal stakeholders
- Assist in drafting client-facing emails, updates, and presentations
- Help manage follow-ups, track action items, and support overall account coordination
Content Development & Writing
- Create and refine written materials including training guides, user-facing documentation, and internal resources
- Ensure communications are clear, concise, and tailored to different audiences
- Support the development of presentations and activation-related materials
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Assist in gathering and analyzing program data to track adoption and performance across state partners
- Build and maintain reports using Excel or similar tools
- Help translate data into clear insights and summaries for internal and external stakeholders
Activation & Project Support
- Assist in coordinating onboarding efforts for new state partners
- Track timelines, milestones, and key deliverables across multiple projects
- Support the team in maintaining organized project documentation
Research & Continuous Improvement
- Conduct research on industry trends, state policies, and digital modernization efforts
- Support process documentation and identify opportunities to improve workflows and communication
- Contribute to building scalable resources and best practices for future activations
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree program in education, business, marketing, communications or related field (2026 graduates welcome)
- Available to complete a 10-week in-person internship (Cleveland, OH) during Summer 2026 with a time commitment of approximately 40 hours per week. Internships run from early June to early August.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously.
- Skilled in developing and delivering compelling digital presentations (PowerPoint, Canva, etc.).
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and entrepreneurial — with a strong bias toward action and outcomes.
- Hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment
