Location: Cleveland (Onsite – 4 days in office)

Reports To: Group Product Manager

Your Impact
We are seeking a Business Analyst to join the CHAMP State Delivery team, focused on integrating state DMV systems into CHAMP’s unified agency platform. This role is highly data‑centric and will work closely with state partners, engineers, and solution architects to map state DMV data to CHAMP’s canonical data model, support data migrations, and define message formats for system‑to‑system integrations.
This is an excellent opportunity for a detail‑oriented analyst who enjoys working at the intersection of business processes, data, and technology in a complex, multi‑agency environment.
What You’ll Do
- Map state DMV data structures to CHAMP’s unified agency data model, including transformations and normalization rules
- Define and document data mappings to support system migrations and ongoing integrations
- Partner with technical teams to define API and web service message formats (schemas, payloads, and data elements)
- Elicit, analyze, and document business, functional, and data requirements from state stakeholders
- Translate requirements into clear specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Create process flows, data flow diagrams, and data mapping artifacts to guide development teams
- Participate in state working sessions, data reviews, and integration discussions
- Validate requirements and mappings for completeness, accuracy, and clarity
- Communicate requirement changes and impacts to internal teams and state partners
- Support Agile delivery ceremonies and collaborate closely with product, engineering, and QA teams

Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar role
- Experience working with data models, data mapping, or system integrations
- Familiarity with APIs and web services (REST, JSON, XML)
- Experience supporting data migrations or system conversions preferred
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts clearly
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with government clients or in regulated industries

Salary Range
The expected salary range for this position is $70,000 to $90,000 annually. This is a good faith estimate, and final compensation may vary based on experience and skills.
