Sales Representative-Government Partnerships
Location: Cleveland (Onsite – 4 days in office)
Department: Government Partnerships (SALES)
Reports To: Director, Business Development & Government Relations
Travel: >20-30%

Your Impact
As a Sales Representative, Government Partnerships, you’ll help grow CHAMP Titles by building relationships with government agencies and identifying new business opportunities. You’ll work with senior sales leaders to move prospects through the sales process, grow our pipeline, and introduce technology that helps modernize government operations.
What You’ll Do
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with state and local government agencies.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Conduct outreach and discovery conversations to understand prospective customers’ needs and priorities.
- Manage and maintain a pipeline of qualified opportunities.
- Support prospects throughout the sales process, including presentations, proposals, follow-up, and stakeholder engagement.
- Partner with senior sales leaders on complex government opportunities, RFPs, and procurement processes.
- Develop a strong understanding of CHAMP’s products, customers, and the government technology landscape.
- Maintain accurate prospect and opportunity information in the CRM.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Implementation teams to support sales efforts.
- Represent CHAMP at conferences, industry events, and customer meetings.
- Work toward established pipeline, activity, and revenue goals.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in sales, business development, or a related customer-facing role.
- Experience developing new business opportunities and managing a sales pipeline.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience working toward sales goals, quotas, or performance targets.
- Ability to understand customer needs and communicate solutions clearly.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple prospects and priorities.
- Experience using a CRM to track sales activity and opportunities.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to travel for customer meetings, conferences, and industry events as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in SaaS, technology, GovTech, or another complex B2B sales environment.
- Experience selling to or working with state or local government agencies.
- Familiarity with government procurement processes and RFPs.
- Experience developing relationships with multiple stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Knowledge of the automotive, vehicle title and registration, or government technology industries.

Salary Range
The expected salary range for this position is $120,000-$185,000 annually, comprised of a base salary plus commission. This is a good faith estimate, and final compensation may vary based on experience, skills, and geographic location.
