This individual will lead courses in research and statistics. Preference would be given to faculty who are versed in IRB and can also lead courses in the DBA and/or DHA programs. Franklin University is a private, independent, accredited, not-for-profit University located in Columbus, Ohio. Candidates will work an onsite hybrid schedule, but consideration will be given to candidates who work remotely with a commitment to be onsite as needed.
The faculty position will work closely with the Dean, Department Chairs, Program Chairs, and the members of the Office of Academic Scholarship in an environment focused on teaching working adults.
Duties will include primary responsibility for assigned course oversight and direction. This includes course development, academic quality, assessment activities, oversight of teaching, providing leadership to adjunct faculty, mentoring doctoral learners and dissertation committee management, service on university committees, engagement with the professional community, as well as other associated program, department, and university requirements as needed.
The position requires an earned Doctorate in field appropriate to the position, from an institutionally (formerly regionally) accredited college or university and a minimum of 18 graduate semester credit hours in discipline. We seek candidates who possess expertise in the field of business or healthcare. Candidates should possess a minimum of five years of professional work experience. Prior experience with design, curriculum development, and dissertation committee service in an online environment are preferred.
