Curriculum & Scheduling Coordinator

Position Summary:
Franklin University, a private, independent, accredited, not-for-profit University located in Columbus, Ohio invites applicants for its Curriculum & Scheduling Coordinator position.
- The Curriculum & Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of academic schedule and curriculum change management for the University.
This role will work an onsite hybrid schedule.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and create the academic schedule for each term
- Monitor and track course and curriculum changes
- Attend curriculum committees as an ex-officio member
- Update student information system (Colleague) with course and curriculum changes
- Consult with faculty regarding curriculum architecture
- Assist with graduation preparation and day-of graduation activities
- Provide information and documentation for accreditation activities
- Serve on committees and task forces within the department and across the university
- Assist with department projects as needed
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One year of experience in admissions, registration, student services, or a related field with excellent knowledge of admissions/registration and student services processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Collaborative with faculty, staff, and administration
- Positive customer service orientation
- One or more years of prior experience in an office setting serving the public with courtesy and professionalism
Preferred Skills and Characteristics:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of Higher Education Registrar software such as Ellucian Colleague
- Ability to learn new technologies and software
- Ability to work in a self-directed manner with a focus on continuous quality improvement
Additional Notes:
- Some evening and weekend hours may be required
