Job Description
- The Data Analyst 2 is responsible for understanding business/department needs and goals and creating data-driven analysis and insight to support management decisions.
- Perform basic moderate risk analyses in which information about business trends are gathered and analyzed with some oversight from team members
- Track metrics and/or dashboards
- Report on findings; summarize analyses into clear concise and effective reports or presentations
- Perform data integrity audits
- Compose internal documentation that details processes and findings
- Regularly provide input on how to improve internal efficiencies; grow knowledge and be aware of best practices and market trends
- Provide guidance on how to interpret data
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Experience as a Data Analyst
- Demonstrated success in performing analyses
- Organized and experienced at successfully multi-tasking
- Advanced in Microsoft Office applications
- Solid project management skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong oral and written communications skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Strong collaborative skills applied successfully within team as well as with other areas
- Demonstrated ability to focus on key issues research gather and integrate information from a variety of sources
- Strong business and technology acumen
- Up to 5% travel time required
