Overview

The Value Advisor 2 plays a key role in helping customers understand the business and financial value of Hyland´s ECM solutions. Partnering closely with Sales, Presales, and Services, this role focuses on building ROI models, business cases, and clear value stories that support successful customer decisions.

This role is well suited for professionals with experience in management or technology consulting, value advisory, or financially driven roles, who enjoy working where strategy, technology, and sales come together and who thrive in collaborative, customer-facing environments.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for standard value consulting engagements, partnering with Account Executives and Presales leaders.
  • Lead value discovery and value articulation efforts, including customer workshops (remote-first, occasional onsite) to evaluate current-state costs and future-state benefits.
  • Develop ROI models, financial analyses, and business cases covering cash flow, productivity gains, cost avoidance, and legacy system retirement.
  • Own the end-to-end creation of ROI workbooks, from opportunity assignment (SPAR) through delivery, customer validation, and Account Manager approval.
  • Create and deliver executive ready value presentations outlining the strategic, operational, and financial impact of company solutions.
  • Present value findings to mid-to-senior level customer stakeholders, adapting messaging for both business and technical audiences.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Presales, and Services to align solution scope, value hypotheses, and customer success outcomes.
  • Transfer value context and business justification to Services teams to support successful solution delivery.
  • Document and synthesize learnings from prior engagements, including case studies, value benchmarks, industry trends, and conversion outcomes.
  • Support the LATAM market, working primarily in English and engaging with Spanish speaking customers as needed.

Basic Qualifications

  • English and Spanish fluency
  • Proven experience building business cases and ROI models for technology solutions

  • Strong understanding of financial fundamentals (cash flow, projected ROI, cost/benefit analysis)

  • 2–5+ years of experience in one or more of the following:

    • Management or strategy consulting

    • Technology consulting or SaaS value advisory

    • Value selling, value management, or presales financial roles

    • Financially focused roles

  • Ability to clearly articulate the value of existing legacy technologies and transitioning to modern platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to work directly with Sales Leaders and Account Executives
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with numbers
  • Ability to influence, build consensus, and gain trust across multiple stakeholder levels
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple engagements in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable operating in a remote-first model, with up to 25% travel
  • Core education in finance, business, or strategy
  • Prior experience in enterprise SaaS, content management, ECM, or adjacent platforms a strong asset
  • Background in value selling or value management frameworks
  • Exposure to ERP platforms or integrated enterprise systems
  • Industry experience in financial services or insurance
  • Experience supporting LATAM customers or regional sales teams
