Location: Kolkata, India Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 3 Days a Week in Office

About This Role

Hyland is looking for a motivated and eager Associate Solutions Consultant to join our consulting team in Kolkata, India. In this role, you will provide consulting and administration services with the overall objective of designing, implementing, and supporting the long-term management of software solutions for our customers. Working closely with senior team members, you will contribute to requirements analysis, solution configuration, testing, training, and migration activities. Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do.

  • Observe and assist senior team members as they perform requirements analysis, gathering information about business processes and technical requirements from key client stakeholders.
  • Build solutions as designed by senior team members, including configuring the company's application development tools with direct oversight; test the configured solution and ensure it is functioning as designed.
  • Compose and deliver documentation outlining requirements for configuring and long-term management of the solution with direct oversight from team members.
  • Compose training materials and conduct training sessions for customers with direct oversight from team members; participate in solution design with oversight from senior team members.
  • Develop migration plans with direct oversight from senior team members; migrate configured solutions into production environments and support customers throughout the migration process.
  • Administer existing software and solutions in collaboration with the customer's System Administrator; ensure best practice alignment is followed and assist with upgrade plans and execution of upgrades to newer versions.

Role Essentials

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent; knowledge of scripting, system architecture, or relational databases.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment; self-motivated with the ability to complete projects in a timely manner.
  • Strong communication skills – able to speak or write with ease, clarity, and impact using a communication style appropriate to the subject and the audience.
  • Solid collaboration skills applied successfully within team as well as with other areas; organized and experienced at successfully multi-tasking.
  • Demonstrated ability to use sound judgment and appropriately escalate issues for guidance; able to thoroughly investigate situations or issues to get relevant information. Average travel requirements for this role are 10% annualized.

What We'd Like to See (Preferred Skills)

  • Experience with software configuration and application development tools; familiarity with solution design and implementation processes.
  • Experience with requirements analysis and gathering technical requirements from client stakeholders; adept at asking probing questions to obtain quality information.
  • Ability to compose clear and concise technical documentation and training materials for customer-facing delivery.
  • Experience supporting software migrations and upgrades in a customer-facing environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and investigative skills; ability to assess and resolve issues with sound judgment and in a collaborative manner.
