About the Role
The Senior Sales Compensation Analyst is responsible for developing, implementing, and administering compensation programs, practices, and policies. This role involves analyzing, evaluating, and preparing recommendations to ensure Hyland maintains a competitive and cost-effective position in the markets in which we operate.
Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do.
- Lead sales compensation initiatives involving analysis, revision, development, or re-design of programs, leveraging deep expertise and best practice knowledge
- Serve as a trusted advisor to Executives, Managers, business leaders, and HR Business Partners — identifying and solving sales compensation issues to ensure programs meet the needs of the business and its people
- Plan, model, create, and evaluate sales compensation plans, analyzing existing structures to drive improvements aligned with business needs
- Research, develop, and recommend sales compensation policies and procedures that support organizational goals
- Develop and deliver timely, meaningful analyses to inform decision-making related to sales compensation programs
- Mentor, coach, and provide feedback to team members, contributing to the overall growth and technical capability of the team
Role Essentials
You'll be set up for success if you have:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- Demonstrated experience as a Sales Compensation Analyst or Compensation Professional
- Advanced Excel skills with the ability to manage and analyze complex data sets
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels with discretion and tact

- Proven ability to develop clear, compelling PowerPoint presentations for leadership audiences
- Experience researching and integrating information from multiple sources to develop sound, data-backed recommendations

- Experience mentoring team members and contributing to team capability development
