Job Description

Seasonal Groundskeeper 1, Facilities Maintenance, PNs: 20078007 & 20079964

What you will do:

  • Must be able to withstand working outdoors in various weather conditions

  • Must be able to work alone or in a team setting

  • Experience with lawn maintenance tools and equipment (mowers, weed eaters, and hand tools).

  • Some experience with general building maintenance (painting, drywall repairs, etc.).

This is a seasonal position for the summer months, starting in late May/early June - August.

Qualifications

Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition, subtraction, multiplication & division; in Department Of Natural Resources only, if assigned to operate vehicles regulated by Section 4506.01 of revised code, must also possess valid commercial drivers license; in accordance with Section 124.11 (b)(2) of revised code, Director Of Administrative Services has determined this classification to be unskilled labor class & therefore exempt from written examination.

This position is overtime eligible based on FLSA Standards.
