Position Summary

JumpStart is seeking a Digital Marketing Intern to assist our marketing team in developing and executing digital campaigns aimed at ambitious entrepreneurs, tech founders, and small business owners. As a Digital Marketing Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of digital marketing, including social media management, content creation, email marketing, SEO, analytics, and media production.

Essential Job Functions

• Assist in the planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns, including social media, email, and content marketing
• Assist with the creation and scheduling of social media content and monitor engagement and analytics
• Assist in the development of content for blog posts, email newsletters, podcasts, videos, and other marketing materials
• Participate in the production and post-production of podcast episodes and video content
• Conduct keyword research and optimize website content for search engines
• Analyze campaign performance and provide insights and recommendations for future optimization
• Collaborate with team members on various marketing projects and initiatives

Required Qualifications

Education, Training and/or Experience

• Currently enrolled in a marketing, communications, media production or related degree program
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with social media platforms and best practices
• Basic knowledge of SEO principles and techniques
• Experience with media production, such as podcasting, video editing, and graphic design
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
