The Land As Your Legacy (LAYL) Specialist serves as a key role within the program, responsible for working in unison with the field relationship management team to optimize business results within assigned territories for the program. Reports to Director, Program Management. They are responsible for tier 2 relationships, supporting the field team and overseeing key home office responsibilities crucial to the LAYL program. Additionally, they play a crucial role in the program to product connection process, maintaining client satisfaction, and advancing the program's objectives of legacy planning and supporting financial services in agriculture.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate with the Sr. Consultant Relationship Management roles to drive Territory and business strategy, analysis, and optimization efforts. Provide support and expertise to tier 2 partners within assigned geographic territory including virtual meetings and marketing support (minimal face-to-face meetings). Work with advisors, external partners, and the Relationship Management team to oversee the LAYL new case set-up process. Case follow-up and coordination working with sales partners to track and drive sales related to LAYL cases. Serve as backup contact for Field team to handle inquiries and requests from the field team in their absence. Support field in maintaining partnerships and assisting in nurturing relationships with partners, such as following-up with tasks committed to between Relationship Managers and Partners. Aid in the advisor recruiting process by assisting in onboarding and training processes for new advisors. Provide territory and national support to plan and execute events organized by the program. (ex. Annual face to face partner meeting, quarterly virtual meeting, identifying speakers for key engagement) Collaborate with Marketing and internal NRI teams around prioritized work to support programs. Responsible for partner activity tracking, analysis and reporting to provide key insights on the performance of the partnership, territory, and advisor effectiveness.

Requirements:

Years of experience: 5+ years of experience in Financial Services

Skills: Relationship Management, Reporting & analysis, organization and time management, interpersonal skills, strategic thinking, and Farm Credit knowledge.

Note: This role will have limited travel of up to 20%.

You'll support the business administration functions for the area(s) you support.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manages all aspects of projects, including: planning, communication, execution and completion.

  • Monitors timelines, including regularly re-assessing risks, throughout project life. Makes recommendations to revise project plans on an ongoing basis to maintain alignment with other projects and the business strategy.

  • Logs issues, designs processes and implements solutions. Maintains awareness of customer and systems requirements and conforms to those requirements.

  • Coordinates internal and external resources, budgeting and cost containment.

  • Develops, and implements complex business processes that support business requirements and business strategy.

  • Provides training on existing and new processes to the assigned customer base.

  • Provides mentorship and feedback to project team members.

May perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Reporting Relationships: Reports to Director or Officer. This is an individual contributor position.

Typical Skills and Experiences:

Education: Undergraduate studies in business, mathematics or related field.

License/Certification/Designation: Project Management Certification preferred.

Experience: Five years of work experience in project management. Business process mapping experience preferred.

Knowledge, Abilities and Skills: Knowledge of project management concepts and techniques. Working knowledge of business terminology, systems and data processing policies, practices and procedures. Knowledge of business-related systems concepts and requirements preferred. Strong relationship building skills. Proven project management skills. Ability to negotiate and solve problems. Proven decision making skills for problem identification and selection of alternatives. Effective interpersonal skills. Ability to prepare technical reports and formal presentations.

Other criteria, including leadership skills, competencies and experiences may take precedence.
