As a Specialist in Digital Marketing, you will oversee the daily maintenance, quality assurance, and administration of Nationwide Financial webpages, ensuring alignment with the brand’s strategy and standards. You will lead routine webpage audits, conduct regular campaign analysis reviews, and provide actionable recommendations to Marketing Management and key partners. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will develop and implement digital marketing strategies to enhance user experience and drive engagement. Additionally, you will monitor web traffic, partner with SEO efforts, troubleshoot technical issues, and stay updated on industry trends to continuously improve Nationwide’s online presence.
- Candidate must have National Financial Marketing experience.
- Candidate must have at least 5 years web site content management experience.
- Oversees the day-to-day maintenance, quality assurance, and administration of digital marketing assets, ensuring alignment with Nationwide’s brand, strategy, and standards for Nationwide Financial webpages.
- Leads the facilitation of routine webpage audits, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring content accuracy and compliance.
- Conducts regular campaign analysis reviews and provides recommendations, including detailed metric reports, to Marketing Management and key partners.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop and implement digital marketing strategies that enhance user experience and drive engagement.
- Monitors and analyzes web traffic and user behavior to optimize content and improve site performance.
- Partner with SEO to increase organic search visibility and drive targeted traffic to the website.
- Coordinates with IT and design teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring seamless website functionality.
- Stays updated on industry trends and best practices in digital marketing and web management to continuously improve Nationwide’s online presence.
- Develops and maintains documentation for web management processes and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency.

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Assists in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns (i.e. advertising, promotions, media, sponsorship, online display, search, email, mobile, social etc.) and creative.
Works with internal and external partners and tactical specialists in the timely development, execution, integration and optimization of marketing campaigns.
Assists in campaign reviews, writing and reviewing briefs and budget management. Responsible for maintaining project timelines, meeting agendas, tactic plan updates, scheduling meetings and routine reviews.
Consults with legal and compliance as needed to ensure regulatory compliance for all client facing communications.
Conducts analysis on digital trends, reviews competitive insights and develops digital marketing recommendations.
May perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Reporting Relationships: Report to Manager/Director/Senior Consultant level or higher. This is an individual contributor role.
Typical Skills and Experiences:
Education: Undergraduate degree in marketing, communication, advertising or related field preferred.
Experience: Typically, five or more years of related experience in marketing, email, web development and strategy, advertising, media or brand management.
Knowledge, Abilities and Skills: Intermediate experience in marketing, campaign advertising, brand management concepts and practices. Well demonstrated creative judgment and familiarity developing marketing campaigns or brand initiatives. An ability to think both creatively and strategically. Ability to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously, perform under pressure and pay close attention to detail while staying focused on the big picture. Strong organizational and written/verbal communication skills while focusing on project completion and cross-functional management.
Other criteria, including leadership skills, competencies and experiences may take precedence.
Staffing exceptions to the above must be approved by the hiring manager’s leader and HR Business Partner.

Working Conditions: Normal office environment. Limited travel. Extended/non-standard hours may be required.
