Location: This position can be filled as Hybrid with 3 days a week at One Nationwide.
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to work on Sales Integration/Prospecting for Distribution Intelligence . This individual will help bridge the gap between our sales and marketing teams across all business lines to nurture and prioritize prospects for the next best action, with the goal of widening the sales funnel and increasing selling advisors. This role is pivotal in systematizing the connection between marketing efforts and sales execution, ensuring that leads are effectively managed to maximize revenue growth across all business lines. The focus will include increasing existing sales and securing new untapped partners. The ideal candidate is a master relationship builder and negotiator with a passion for optimizing processes and driving cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Governance and Prioritization:
- Develop and implement a governance framework for managing leads from marketing to sales.
- Create a ranking system to ensure leads are processed based on their importance and potential value, regardless of source
- Generate ruleset for sales and marketing engagement on overlapping audiences. Drive towards clearer lead engagement metrics to justify business line of action
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Conduct comprehensive fact-finding missions to understand current sales and marketing processes, limitations, and opportunities.
- Foster strong relationships between sales and marketing teams to promote transparency and alignment.
- Increase key engagement metrics capture by building easily navigable, single-source engagement database. Definitions should be consistent across organizations and available to all lines of business.
Process Optimization:
- Identify and implement innovative strategies to link sales and marketing functions effectively.
- Streamline workflows to increase sales with new and existing partners and improve advisor relationships.
- Provide consistent definitions and sales processing around marketing qualified leads vs. sales qualified leads
Technology Utilization:
- Leverage our current marketing stack (Salesforce CRM, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Pardot, Seismic) to enhance lead management and sales processes.
- Fully leverage disparate data sources found around the organization, including Discovery Data, SalesMI, Salesforce, AIMS, MDH etc. to fully leverage our current state (underleveraged) knowledge of sales partners.
- Ensure data integrity and effective use of technology platforms across departments.
Stakeholder Management:
- Act as a key negotiator to align differing objectives and priorities between teams.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership to drive organizational change.
- Build overarching strategic plan with key milestones and KPIs to communicate progress and successes across the organization
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in sales or marketing roles, with a focus on integration and process improvement.
- Proven track record in building governance structures and lead management systems.
- Expertise in relationship building and negotiation across multiple departments.
- Familiarity with financial services products, especially life insurance, annuities, and retirement plans.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with Salesforce CRM, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Pardot, Seismic, and other relevant technologies.
- Ability to drive change and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

You'll be responsible for growing and evolving the business partner relationship and service management profession to maximize effectiveness and may be responsible for the business unit financial and operational measurement strategy or project portfolio.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Builds and maintains relationships and serves as trusted business advisor to leaders, clients, internal risk partners and other stakeholders. Creates partnerships across the company to ensure methodologies and assumptions used are aligned with corporate practices.
Crafts, packages and communicates financial and operational measurement work by developing new statistical and visual solutions.
Participates in the development of scope, risk/control matrix, project timelines and assignments. Work may span more than one project or focus area.
Owns the development of financial and operational measurement strategies for the business unit. Consults with business leaders to understand, align and deliver measurement work that supports business objectives and priorities.
Builds business intelligence applications using statistical, database and/or general programming languages and tools. Uses technology for data management, report automation and/or ad hoc reporting for end users.
Prepares reports and uses information systems, software and related sources of information. Trains other users on report preparation and database access. Consults on monitoring external sources, crafting custom reports, compiling and summarizing information, producing supporting documentation and exhibits and verification of information received from external sources.
Manages special projects and serves as data/technical lead and contact for team members and associates from other areas of the company.
Contributes to the continuous improvement of department processes through ongoing initiatives.
May perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Reporting Relationships: Reports to Director/Associate Vice President and may have the opportunity to lead a small team of Business Insight professionals.
Typical Skills and Experiences:
Education: Undergraduate studies in computer science, management information, business, mathematics or related field with post-graduate studies preferred.
Experience: Typically, 10 or more years of experience in data visualization, financial and operational measurement and data extraction queries. Detailed experience with data extraction problem solving; working with large structured and unstructured data sets and databases to create understandable and relevant measures. Professional experience in insurance, financial services or a related industry preferred.
Knowledge, Abilities and Skills: In-depth knowledge of business policies and procedures, customer service concepts and practices. Sophisticated understanding of and working knowledge to build and maintain ad hoc and standard reports, including data visualization and business intelligence tools. Advanced knowledge on conducting data management and extraction of data for functional and operational measurement. Strong communication skills for interactions with others. Ability to understand functional and operational measurement needs, analyze data requests and interpret business problems into solutions. Ability to work under tight time constraints. Capable of developing distinctive and understandable data visualizations.
