Join Our Team as an Enterprise Lean & Agile Coach!

Are you ready to be the driving force behind relentless improvement? As an Enterprise Lean & Agile Coach (EAC) within our Practices & Tooling Strategy team, you'll be the face of Lean & Agile capabilities for a CTO organization. You'll be a key thought leader for our Acceleration Solution Delivery framework (ASDf) and collaborate with fellow EACs to push the boundaries of industry research, knowledge cultivation, and crowdsourcing. Your mission? To pave the path to a future lean & agile way of working, and inspire the adoption of best practices, mindsets, and behaviors,

What You'll Do:

  • Lead and Innovate: Be the primary advocate for Lean & Agile methodologies, influencing a CTO organization.
  • Collaborate and Curate: Work with other EACs to perform cutting-edge industry research and develop training materials.
  • Champion Change: Formulate compelling action plans and communication strategies with your BSA cohorts to drive improvements.

As a Software Engineering Leader, you’re accountable for the effective and efficient delivery of software to enable business outcomes by using software engineering industry best practices. You'll guide agile technology teams in a matrix environment on how work is accomplished across the software lifecycle. You'll also drive software engineering maturity by providing coaching and guidance on Lean, agile and DevSecOps principles, tools, and techniques.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for applying secure software and systems engineering practices throughout the delivery lifecycle to ensure our data and technology solutions are protected from threats and vulnerabilities.

  • Ensures software engineering and development capability uplift.

  • Partners with others to evolve software engineering methodologies and champions innovation.

  • Responsible for communicating and interpreting key metrics such as time to market (speed), quality and efficiency, and drives automation/continuous improvement.

  • Consults on technology team formation, including consolidating, optimizing and de-constructing agile teams.

  • Enables variable capacity management for Technology teams through staff augmentation, managed capacity, and associate staffing to ensure teams are appropriately staffed.

  • Assists with the development of Technology professionals by providing coaching and feedback.

May perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Reporting Relationships: Reports to Technology, Leader. May have 0-2 direct reports.

Education: Undergraduate studies in computer science, management information systems, mathematics or related field is strongly preferred.

Certification: Certified Scrum Master, Certified Agile Leader, Amazon Web Services Practitioner, or other related certifications are encouraged, but not required.

Experience: Six years of experience using Lean, agile and DevSecOps principles. Five or more years in leading strategic, large-scale initiatives across a variety of technical disciplines. Prior leadership experience preferred.

Knowledge, Abilities and Skills: Six years of experience using Lean, agile and DevSecOps principles. Five or more years in leading strategic, large-scale initiatives across a variety of technical disciplines. Prior leadership experience preferred. Other criteria, including leadership skills, competencies and experiences may take precedence.

Staffing exceptions to the above must be approved by the hiring manager’s leader and Human Resource Business Partner.

Working Conditions: Hybrid to Normal Office Environment. Some travel may be required.
