This is a testing position for the P&C Test & Learn team - Alpha Bravo.
Alpha Bravo is an innovative team that pilots prototypes and new features to existing application for Property and Casualty. We focus on completing 2-3 month long experiments so stakeholders can decide whether to pursue an exciting new idea!
Required Skills

Manual Web Testing Experience (90%)
Including Keyboard Testing (navigating the website only using the keyboard).
ADA Compliance Testing.
Browser Testing (knowing how to work with Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari).
Mobile Testing with Android and Apple devices.
Exploratory/Ad Hoc Testing.

Ruby Automation Testing (10%)
Knowledge with creating Ruby Test Scenarios and Step Definitions, using Gherkin.
Knowledge with creating Ruby Test Suites from scratch.
Knowledge with Watir WebDriver and Selenium WebDriver.
Knowledge of Page-Objects.
Knowledge on what Ruby Gems are and how to install and use them.
Multi-tasking/context switching expertise
Exceptional communication skills
Demonstrated ability to learn quickly
Technical Expertise
Github - Knowing how to create branches, branching off other branches, pulling and pushing changes
API - Basic knowledge around what API calls consist of (such as POST, GET, Headers, Body, Parameters, etc.) and how to make API calls.

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Analyzes, solutions, develops, tests, debugs, documents and deploys software according to standards and best practices.
Applies secure software and systems engineering practices throughout the delivery lifecycle to ensure our data and technology solutions are protected from threats and vulnerabilities.
Uses DevSecOps practices, tooling and techniques.
Drives continuous improvement and learning through ongoing training, practice and innovation.
Manages project priorities, deadlines and deliverables proactively.
May perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Reporting Relationships: Reports to a Technology Manager/Director.
Typical Skills and Experiences:
Education: Undergraduate studies in computer science, management information systems, or other related degree. Technology experience or non-traditional technology certificates can be substituted for an undergraduate degree.
Experience: Two or more years of analysis and technology experience.
Knowledge, Abilities and Skills: Proficiency in one or more programming language such as Java, C++, Python, JavaScript. Knowledge of software development lifecycle. Proven ability to tackle moderately sophisticated business and development problems. Ability to thrive in a team environment. Insurance/financial services industry knowledge a plus.
Other criteria, including leadership skills, competencies and experiences may take precedence.
Staffing exceptions to the above must be approved by the hiring manager’s leader and Human Resources Business Partner.
