How You Will Make an Impact
Design and implement strategic, data-driven TA strategies to support all areas of the organization with a strong focus on technical talent (including engineering, data science, product, and analytics) and cultivating, engaging, and developing future leaders.
Build a data-driven TA organization and process, including analytics, dashboards, and a culture of continuous improvement using data insights to shape an operational roadmap.
Develop and optimize workflows, talent pipeline, and processes, maximizing the TA team’s success and efficiency
Develop, implement, and coordinate targeted sourcing strategies to engage with active and passive talent
Collaborate and serve as a trusted partner to provide thought leadership for TA philosophies, processes, tools and tactics for technical and non-technical TA needs, communicating updates and vital information to senior leadership.
Lead a team of recruiters, building and empowering them by cultivating trust, developing growth plans, and maximizing individual and team performance.
Create standardized technical and behavioral assessments in the screening and interview process to test for certain skills, resulting in more qualified and interested candidates.
Partner with HRBPs and Talent Management to identify ways of working with hiring managers and interviewers to continually improve their capabilities
Identify trade and professional conferences to strategically recruit and brand Root in the tech marketplace
Lead recruiting capacity modeling and interviewer demand analyses, based on business needs, data, and planning
Play a key role in Recruiting-wide, team-level, and individual goal setting processes
Develop and leverage business partnerships with various talent acquisition vendors including recruiting agencies, background check services, LinkedIn, and Glassdoor
Set the pace and energy to design and execute an ambitious recruiting operations roadmap including candidate experience, tooling, capacity planning, and data and analytics, refining processes and systems and implementing efficient hiring practices.
You will be responsible for defining and tracking metrics and implementing new ways of measuring effectiveness to ensure the strategy we set is measurable and exceeds standards.
What You Will Need to Succeed
10+ years of experience in full cycle recruiting, with 5+ years managing technical recruiting teams
5+ years of Tech/Start-up experience
Extensive leadership in talent acquisition, including 5+ years managing managers and team leads, and over a decade of experience overseeing recruitment operations in geographically dispersed settings
Proven ability to create programs and plans to identify and attract the best active and passive talent

Strong analytical mindset—leveraging data to uncover insights, tell compelling stories, and drive strategic decisions.
Naturally inquisitive, seeking to understand and solve problems by instinctively turning to data.
Fluent in recruiting analytics, with expertise in building and optimizing systems and processes to enhance efficiency and impact
Technical sourcing

Ability to develop direct reports, through a trust and inspire leadership approach
Ability to think outside of what’s been done before to identify ideal long term solutions to current and future problems

Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point.
Keen awareness of tools and best practices to source talents, including AI
