Job Title: Marketing Coordinator

Reports To: Director of Marketing & Communications

Position Summary:

The Marketing Coordinator supports marketing and communications efforts across multiple YBI programs in collaboration with the Director of Marketing & Communications. This role is design-forward. You will also support general marketing efforts, including but not limited to, social media, email, events, and campaigns.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work independently, manage multiple projects at once, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • A portfolio showing real design work, including layout, branding, and digital content
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and quickly

Preferred

  • Some experience with photography or video, even from coursework or personal projects
  • Familiarity with short-form video and social content formats
  • Basic knowledge of social media and email marketing

Essential Functions

Graphic Design

• Design graphics for social media, email, website, presentations, and print

• Build and maintain branded templates across YBI programs

• Create event materials, including signage, sponsor graphics, and promotional assets

• Keep visual brand consistent across all programs and platforms

Marketing Support

• Schedule and post social media content across YBI channels

• Support email campaigns and newsletters

• Help maintain and update website content

• Coordinate marketing assets across internal teams and programs

Events

  • Assist with planning, marketing, and execution of all YBI events

Video and Photo Content

• Shoot and edit short-form video for social media and digital campaigns

• Handle basic event photography and program documentation

• Edit and format video content for use across YBI platforms

Collaboration

• Work closely with the Marketing Director on campaigns and initiatives

• Contribute ideas for content, storytelling, and brand visibility
