Location: India Remote only

This is a remote role; However, candidates should be open to travel for team meetups or client visits, as required.

Role Overview Designs, builds, and maintains scalable cloud infrastructure using IaC and automates CI/CD pipelines. Lead incident management, optimize system performance & ensure security compliance. This is an engineering-first role — you will be close to the code, the infrastructure, and the decisions that shape how we build and operate at scale.

Core Responsibilities

  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Design and manage infrastructure.
  • CI/CD Pipeline Development: Create and maintain robust, scalable CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid, reliable code deployment.
  • Cloud Management: Deploy and manage cloud-based production systems focusing on performance, scalability, and security.
  • Containerization & Orchestration: Manage container-based deployments utilizing Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Monitoring & Incident Response: Monitor system health and lead on-call incident resolution.
  • Security & Compliance: Integrate security best practices (DevSecOps) at the infrastructure level
  • Teaming & Collaboration: Mentor DevOps engineers & cloud teams, collaborate closely with application, data, security, and infrastructure teams. Contribute to technical roadmaps, architecture standards, and internal documentation.

Experience (Must Have)

  • 8+ years of overall IT experience, with 6+ years in DevOps or cloud-native engineering roles.
  • Proven track record designing and operating enterprise-scale, production-ready cloud platforms.
  • Experience integrating automation across CI/CD, infrastructure provisioning, and operational workflows.

Technical Skills (Must Have & Recent Experience)

  • Cloud: AWS /Azure/GCP — compute, networking, storage, IAM, and security services.
  • Containers: Kubernetes (EKS, AKS), Helm, Docker.
  • IaC: Terraform at enterprise scale; policy enforcement and drift management.
  • Configuration Management : Ansible or similar
  • CI/CD: GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or equivalent; GitOps tooling.
  • Observability: Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, distributed tracing.
  • Programming: Python/Node.js for automation, integrations, and AI-assisted tooling; ability to consume AI/ML APIs and SDKs.
  • Security: Cloud IAM design, RBAC, OIDC federation, OPA, and policy-as-code.

Soft Skills

  • Self-motivated, outcome-focused, and passionate about automation and continuous improvement.
  • Strong design thinking and structured problem-solving approach.
  • Clear, confident communication with both technical peers & non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to influence technical direction and drive alignment across teams.

Nice to have

  • Background working in multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
  • AI Exposure: Practical experience using GitHub Copilot, Claude, or equivalent AI-assisted tools in infrastructure design, incident analysis, or documentation workflows.
