The Importance of this Role
We are looking for a seasoned, strategic, and customer-focused Senior Director of Product Management. This leader will be instrumental in defining and scaling Matic’s product vision and execution within our digital insurance marketplace.
In this role, you will own the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and discovery through launch and continuous improvement. You will lead a talented team of 4-6 PMs and work in close collaboration with Marketing, Operations, Data, Engineering, and Partnership teams. Your objective will be to deliver outstanding products that achieve measurable business results and provide an exceptional experience for our users.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for Matic’s B2B2C product offerings.
- Oversee the customer product experience, ensuring seamless integration across channels and touchpoints.
- Develop and mentor a high-performing product management team, fostering innovation, customer obsession, and data-driven decision-making.
- Partner closely with Engineering, Design, and Data teams to build efficient product development processes, from ideation and prioritization to launch and post-launch measurement.
- Drive product initiatives focused on improving user acquisition, activation, retention, and cross-sell opportunities.
- Establish clear KPIs, product metrics, and regular reporting cadences to ensure visibility and accountability across product performance.
- Contribute to product positioning and differentiation, ensuring clarity and consistency across our digital marketplace.
- Collaborate with agency operations, marketing, and finance to identify critical business challenges for product and engineering to address, building upon existing team insights.
Requirements
- 6+ years of product management experience, with at least 3+ years in leadership roles managing product teams.
- Proven track record in delivering successful digital products.
- Expertise in product lifecycle management, user research methodologies, agile development, and customer-centric product design.
- Has experience scaling a product function from mid-stage to maturity, ideally at a marketplace, platform, or B2B2C company.
- Analytical, data-driven, and metrics-oriented mindset, paired with a passion for understanding customer behavior and market trends.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with experience managing high-performing product management teams.
- Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution effectively.
