Integration and Transition System Developer

As an Integration and Transition System Developer, you will be working with other engineers, researchers, program managers, and Parallax clients. When working with your team you will provide software development and integration support.

In this position you will also support transitioning software from the research team and other project/application teams to help mature the project’s source code and documentation to enable the smooth transition.

In addition to that, a typical day-in-the-life of a Parallax Integration and Transition System Developer includes:

  • Designing, developing, and analyzing software programs for computer-based systems.
  • Performing systems modeling, simulation, and analysis.
  • Collaborating with the program team to identify characteristics that affect software systems and working with them to resolve incompatibilities to ensure a smooth software transition.
  • Preparing software user manuals.

Ideally, you are looking for your next long-term challenge and have these skills:

  • Experience with GIT including merging, conflict resolution, and rebasing
  • Experience with Issue management tools such as GitLab, GitHub, or JIRA
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or closely related fields
  • 5+ years of experience in software development
  • Course work or experience with AI/ML
  • 2+ years of experience with Python
  • 2+ years of experience with at least one statically typed language such as C, C++, GO, Java, C#, Rust

Furthermore, do you have, or want to develop these skills?

  • PhD in computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or closely related fields
  • Experience with GO
