Position Summary
The PED Logistician provides comprehensive logistics and sustainment support to Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (PED) operations. This role ensures mission readiness by managing equipment, facilities, supply chain activities, and operational support functions for the customer environment. The PED Logistician coordinates closely with Operations, IT, Security, and program leadership to maintain uninterrupted mission capability.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
Parallax Advanced Research is looking to hire a logistician specializing in end-to-end system support, including licensing management, hardware purchasing, asset tracking, and vendor coordination. The position ensures compliance, cost efficiency, and timely delivery of all purchased SW/HW while maintaining accurate documentation and streamlining internal processes. The position would handle these types of things for the Program Office vice a single component within the architecture.
Any other duties, as required.
It is anticipated that the employee will spend 100% of their time fulfilling these responsibilities.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
  • 5-10 years of logistics experience, preferably in defense, ISR, intelligence, or IT environments
  • Experience supporting secure or classified operations
  • Knowledge of government property accountability and procurement processes
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-tempo operational environment
  • Must hold an active TS/SCI clearance
Preferred Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
  • CI Polygraph with clearance
  • Experience supporting ISR or intelligence PED operations
  • Familiarity with IT infrastructure, servers, storage systems, and networking equipment
  • Experience in expeditionary or deployed logistics environments
  • Knowledge of DoD logistics systems (e.g., GCSS, DPAS, or equivalent)
  • Certification in supply chain or logistics (e.g., APICS, DAWIA, PMP)

Pay Range: $80,000 - $120,000 per year
